EROWA Automation Solutions for Heavy Workpieces

EROWA AG took over the LoadMaster product line from Schuler Automation last year. EROWA has thus expanded the range of FMC automation solutions for single part and small series automation to up to 4 tonnes transfer weight.

Masterfully loaded

Up to 4’000 kg transfer weight. Thanks to the ingenious kinematics with very little space requirement. The magazines build in the height, on two, three or four floors, the memory locations are arranged very cost-effective and space-saving. Coordinated with the usual workpiece sizes, the individual levels are optimally configured.

The loading station is fully accessible or accessible via a sliding door. They are integral parts of the LoadMaster production line. Versions with lifting unit, with rotating and tilting table or with rotary table are available. The stations are also accessible with overhead crane

Masterfully transported

On stable rails, the transfer unit moves longitudinally between the magazines and machines. In systems with different pallet sizes, a specialty in this weight class, the “MultiFork” gripper is the alternative to the gripper change. Within a very short time, the gripper width adapts to different pallet dimensions. With the double gripper “TwinFork” the chip-to-chip time during pallet change is significantly reduced. This is a factor to consider in the case of long transfer paths and short processing times. 360 ° freedom for the range of movement of the turret, together with the pivot axis of the gripper arm, result in efficient loading and unloading of the machine table and storage position.
